Five bodies share a room, bound by the act of waiting—each for a different longing. This film, adapted from a live piece of the same name by Bobbi Jene Smith and Or Schraiber, explores the intersection of time, desire, and connection.
“The bodies’ intense expressions and sharp movements communicate moods and words like a searingly precise, nonverbal language.” — Iscene
“Every single detail in the bends and lifts expresses a story that the audience can absorb.” — Frederiksborg Amts Avis
“Bobbi Jene and Or Schraiber’s choreographic language conveys emotions everyone can relate to – Waiting Places is the waiting room we don’t want to leave.” — Sceneblog
“Incredible how love can unfold between fierce collisions and lingering anticipation.” — Politiken
