The Work

Force Majeure is a work that deals with the body and relationships in their rawest form, without any ornamentation. The performers, with exposed bodies, explore various mechanisms based on the act of gripping the skin and its friction. Some of these mechanisms create sculptural, static images, while others are dynamic and disintegrate. Questions of consent and desire are ready to be asked without necessarily receiving a clear-cut answer. The impossible longing to become one body accompanies the piece from beginning to end.
