The Company
Eyal Dadon was born in Beer Sheva in 1989. He is currently the Artistic Director and founding choreographer of SOL Dance Company. Dadon has won dance prizes in Germany, Israel, the USA, and South Korea. He creates choreographies for leading dance companies around the world and in Israel. Eyal is a graduate of the BPM School of Music Production and explores the field of sound in his dance works. Additionally, he is the Sound Producer of Kibbutz Dance Company.
SOL Dance Company was founded in 2016 by the House of Dance Association and its team. The company’s artistic team comprises eight unique artists and a united artistic team. During its first years, SOL Dance Company quickly gained recognition on the international contemporary dance stage thanks to its distinct body language and unique movement style. As a young company, SOL was invited to perform at leading festivals and theaters in the international dance scene. It established itself as a unique contemporary dance company under the artistic direction of Eyal Dadon, whose works it performed. SOL Dance Company is based at the House of Dance in a beautiful Ottoman building in the old city of Be’er Sheva. There, the company examines and develops the language of dance in innovative ways and with inspirational approaches to movement, society, music, and life.
