Good evening.
Good to see you all.
Before we start, I would like to say that we felt like creating a simple dance this time.
You know what I mean when I say a simple dance, right?
It’s a dance where people move all kinds of organs and joints in a variety of shapes to sounds and melodies.
It’s a dance where there are no stereotypes and no archetypes and no Zionist symbols and no gender and no hill with warriors, and no unnecessary gibberish.
No comic satire and no deep philosophy, and even if you dig deep and furrow your brow, you won’t find a single sacred cow.
Roy Assaf is a mammal belonging to the species Homo sapiens, although some are convinced he possesses Neanderthal genes. He was born in 1982 in a place that some call Israel, and some call Palestine. He broke his front tooth at age five while dancing on the slippery floor of his family home. At age six, he began giving tap concerts for his neighbor. At age 16, he met Regba Gilboa, who rooted in Roy the confidence that dance is where he belongs. In 2003 He met Emanuel Gat, who introduced him to Schubert and for whom he wore his first dress.
In 2011, he gathered the courage to make a dance, after which he created another and another still continuing to this day.
