Accessibility<\/strong>
In recent years, new accessibility regulations dealing with structural and service aspects
of all service provider organizations in Israeli society, both business and public, came
into force. These regulations were established by the power of the Act of Equal Rights
for persons with disabilities and are in line with our Credo as a cultural centre that
serves as a home for dance performances presented for the enjoyment of the general
public, which includes people with disabilities.
As part of our ambition to provide a complete, appropriate, and accessible service to all
our customers, the Suzanne Dellal Centre has invested a lot of thought and resources
to make full adjustments necessary to provide people with disabilities with an efficient
service adapted to their needs.
We will be happy to be at our visitors’ disposal for any inquiries or improvement
suggestions regarding the accessibility experience at the Centre. You can contact us in

Breakdown of accessibility adjustments provided at the Suzanne
Dellal Centre:<\/strong>
Building accessibility and pathways<\/strong>
\uf0b7 Suzanne Dellal Centre’s accessibility has been tested and approved by a
certified accessibility representative.
\uf0b7 An accessible entrance to the box office and cafeteria is at 12 Shabazi St. (facing
“Suzana” Restaurant).
\uf0b7 An accessible path to the Hall is through a ramp that starts at the entrance plaza,
surrounds the building from its northern and eastern sides, and leads to the
elevator into the Hall (the elevator is in the eastern part of the building).<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Accessible parking in and around the place<\/strong>
Two accessible parking spaces are available at 18 Kol Israel Haverim, 50 meters from
the centre’s entrance plaza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Employee training<\/strong>
The centre’s staff has been briefed on accessibility and will gladly assist with any issue.
The reservation Centre, Box Office, and Hall employees have undergone dedicated
accessibility training, including an introduction to the different types of disabilities and
experiencing with disabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elevators<\/strong>
The elevator cabin is standard in terms of its dimensions. The elevator\u2019s operating
buttons are installed in comfortable height ranges and can be operated by visually
impaired and wheelchair users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Signage<\/strong>
The signage throughout the Suzanne Dellal Centre has been updated and meets
accessibility requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Phone and Internet services<\/strong>
Call center \u2013 There is no background music while information is relayed. In addition,
disabled persons who cannot use the phone can contact the call center using the
“Contact Us” form on the centre’s website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Website<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our website is accessible and enables browsing for the visually impaired and
blind, the hard of hearing, and others. The site complies with the AA-level website
accessibility standard.

In-person service \u2013 accessible box office
The Box Office is at the entrance level, through the plaza facing Shabazi St.
The box office counter is installed at a standardized height. It is equipped with an
auxiliary system for people who are hard of hearing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Accessible bathroom<\/strong>
The accessible bathroom is standardized and fully equipped. The cubicle serving all
genders is located in the bathroom area at the entrance level, to the right of the box
office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Assistive hearing systems<\/strong>
A peripheral auxiliary system was installed in the Suzanne Dellal hall to assist people
who are hard of hearing. Assistance devices such as personal induction loops and
amplifying headphones are available for borrowing at the box office before each show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Designated spots for disabled people (in halls and events)<\/strong>
The Suzanne Dellal Hall has two wheelchair-designated spots on either side of the front
row.
Next to the designated spots, there is seating for non-disabled family, friends, and
chaperones. Please inform the booking center if you wish to book the adjacent seating
when you order your tickets. All other seats in the Hall have armrests and backrests.
There is an elevator into Suzanne Dellal Hall. An internal staircase leads to the balcony.
The rows of the Hall are terraced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
